Holding at #4 in AP poll

I seriously doubt it. I think committee will move teams up or down by 1 to avoid rematches and conference matchups in round 1 (like they do with NCAA hoops)
Well that would be bullshit if someone went from having a home game to away because of aesthetics, especially if those two teams from the same conference had not even played each other earlier in the year. Hoops is a neutral site (generally), so not the same scenario.

Why would that happen? The only spot that would make a different would be in the 8/9 game and surely the plan would be to swap the 9 seed with the 10 seed. Entirely what I am thinking is that they will potentially switch teams in the 9-12 seed range one spot up or down to avoid rematches or conference matchups.

this is an interesting prediction. He's got tOSU beating Oregon and GA beating TX in the championship games. Thus Oregon falls to above us as well as TX. That would move us to 7 versus the desert team, AZ State.

Very possible. We definitely want to hang on to #6 at worst to get a better matchup in the 2nd round against the G5, Big 12 or ACC. Georgia, despite having 2 losses, is not a favorable matchup.

This--that's why 6 matters. I do think Georgia beating Texas in a CCG puts Texas at 6 though :(

It’s a crap shoot right now but we do know that PSU has a home game in December if O$U beats Michigan! After that just sit back and enjoy the conference championship games to determine top four.
