Mom, Dad and Father-in-Law were WWII Navy vets. Dad was CO of a minesweeper in the Philippines and South Pacific. Underwent kamikaze attack at Lingayen Gulf, PI (it missed). Called back to active duty for Korea. Mom was WWII Navy Wave LT who routed North Atlantic Convoys out of Boston. Father-in-Law was an aviation mechanic on Saipan. Brother in law was an Army captain in Germany. I was on a large Amphib in the 7th Fleet in and around Vietnam and Cambodia (yes, we were there although our missions don't exist). In the USNR, went to Korea, Portugal, Med, Genoa, Iceland, CINCPACFLT staff in HI. Retired as a CDR in the USNR. I will give a talk on Frozen Chosin: The Breakout from the Chosin Reservoir at the PA Military Museum Dec. 8.

Let's hear it from you guys. Sound off like you got a pair.
