I did. A sweep for the Terps, with Rambo winning it for men's LAX.
Stukenberg was a worthy recipient. I believe that makes it 6 straight years that the women's Tewaaraton went to a Terp player.
To some degree, I found this year's Tewaaraton interesting on the lady's side. There wasn't a Taylor Cummings (i.e., a clear-cut favorite) in the competition. The other finalists were Stukenberg's teammate, Nadine Hadnagy, Stony Brook's Kylie Ohlmiller, UNC's Marie McCool, and Princeton's Olivia Hompe.
You mentioned that Stukenberg is an incredible student. I think the article I read about her winning the Tewaaraton mentioned that she graduated with a 4.0 in biological science from MD, and that while she plans to become a doctor she'll be teaching in the fall in a public school in Baltimore as part of Teach for America. The GPA, the long-term plans, and the Teach for America are all very impressive.
