News story out yesterday. There's a lot of confusing things here.

He claims to be one of 9 victims. I don't remember hearing his name before.

Is he for real?

He's in the bounce house business & wants to expand to a permanent kid's entertainment facility.

I don't have time to go back through the trial transcripts but that name certainly does not ring a bell.

It's reasonable to question an accuser who chooses to go public in this way with alleged abuse.

The circumstances surrounding this piece are suspect.

Days after Jerry's son is in the news for alleged child abuse, a Sandusky accuser (who apparently was not a trial or settlement victim) goes on TV in Columbus, OH and gives little to no detail of his relationship to Jerry while promoting his business.

He could be a victim, no doubt. But it's also reasonable to conclude he was not.

Sandusky has been convicted of molesting people and a good chunk of those on this board call them liars and frauds. I'm not out of line to rip on them. It's a shame they aren't ripped on more. They do nothing but feed into the cult narrative. F them.

I understand. I didn't say you were out of line. I simply stated it's reasonable to question this specific instance under the circumstances. I think the OP's point was a fair one.

I also agree that some go overboard trying to defend Jerry. But some also point out very fair points about Jerry's trial etc and the case in general.

I'm having trouble understanding this. Is this a good business model? " Look at me. I was abused by a child molester. I have 5 boys and I spend as much time as possible with them. Bring your kids to me at my bounce palace. It will be located in an old deserted building supply house. Don't you worry I will take care of your kids cause I love them."

That article states the following: "Sandusky is serving 30 to 60 years prison time for his convictions, but Keith and the nine others have a lifetime sentence of retyping to pick up the pieces." This seems to clearly suggest he was one of the 10 victims presented at trial from what I can tell.

It does. But so far noone seems to remember his name from the trial, and as far as I know all the names were in the transcripts.

Except for V2 & V8. Do we have a V8 claim now? How does a kid from Columbus manage to get into the football facilities at PSU?

There are people on these boards @ChiTownLion ? that don't shy away from contacting press to clear up issues with articles. I hope someone asks the author of this piece what the deal is.

Reporter Mike Jackson doesn't appear to be very active on twitter, but I floated the question anyway.

I don't believe there was anybody named Jessie Keith who testified at trial. Perhaps Penn State gave him a settlement. The story doesn't provide any details other than he is a survivor of abuse at the hands of Jerry Sandusky.

"COLUMBUS (WCMH) — Imagine that you’re in deep water and about to go down a third time, but the lifeguards are ignoring your cries for help."

So who did he cry out for help to that ignored him?

From a strictly marketing point of view, I do not think my lead argument if I ran a "children's fun" business would be that I am a victim of CSA.

So he would have been convicted of, say, 35 counts instead of 48? He's going to jail no matter what. You really want to sit through another trial and seeing "Former Penn State Defensive Coordinator" in the news day in and day out for the same end result? We just went to the damn Rose Bowl, the future is bright and Jerry is going to die in prison.

Maybe...

Sandusky is serving 30 to 60 years prison time for his convictions, but Keith and the nine others have a lifetime sentence of trying to pick up the pieces. It’s a mistake if you call Keith a victim or a survivor. ‘I’m an overcomer’, said Keith. ‘a lot of the things with me was, nobody believed me while I was in foster care, that’s the biggest thing, guidance counselors, nobody really believed what I was telling them, it was always, “stop being a trouble maker”.

So if true, we have a claim of someone making a contemporaneous report, albeit one that was ignored, and likely not documented or long gone.

So much missing here, though. Is he a 2nd mile kid? Was he bussed in like Greg B from Philly claims? He's much younger than Greg.

It seems extremely fishy. But if there's any meat & the story holds together, AND he didn't get a settlement, it would scuttle most of the debate about ol' Jer.

But it just seems very very fishy, this one.

if he got a settlement, why would he need money for his jungle Jim?

One thing we do know: @getmyjive will do his very best to protect the foster care workers and guidance counselors who failed Jesse Keith. Because he doesn't care about protecting kids. Because Paterno.

perhaps Bernie Mccue can vouch for his veracity

Didn't MikeCool Jackson kinda take that tact..... I was abused growing up.... come play and by the way stay and sleep in my bounce house (sorry for that image).... Today everyone is a victim of a lack of inner will and strength..... the media sucks this shit up ... every contestant on The Voice ... has a hard luck or abused in the past or drug addiction story filled with pain and suffering... my grandma died.... and this is for hernot the 30Mil a year crap shoot of the decade...whatever... should we not all cash in ??? on this wave of lunacy? It's a national fad turning into our national past time.

Did I miss any details of his current age, the year of abuse by Jerry? Mr. Keith looks to be about 30’ish. Do you think abuse occurred when he was about 12? Would the abuse have happened between/around 1998 – 2000? Just curious, did the news people ask?
Please excuse me if these questions have be hashed out on the interview...I have difficulty in hearing.

what do you think the 50 tag is? He played Center? Cant be birth year, and I doubt its his age, 50, would, for the most part be too old for JS, right? Did it say where he is from or went to school?
