Here is what I see in the Rivals database:
Houston Griffith (#4 Safety, #44 nationally): Uncommitted (haven't heard anything about where he is leaning)
Isheem Young (#10 Safety, #114 nationally): Uncommitted (commitment date announced for July 10 - reported to be strong PSU lean)
Kwantel Raines (#21 Safety, #219 nationally): Uncommitted (some posters say currently a Pitt lean)
Trent Gordon (#22 Safety, #235 nationally): Committed to PSU
Jordan Miner (#23 Safety, unranked nationally): Uncommitted (commitment date announced for July 6 - reported to be a PSU lean)
Isaiah Humphries (#40 Safety, unranked nationally): Committed to PSU
Am I missing anyone?
Assuming that Miner and Young announce for PSU in the next week, that would give us four Safety commits according to the Rivals classification, which seems like a lot for one position.
Are any of these players expected to play Cornerback at PSU, instead of Safety? I have seen a couple posters suggest that Raines, if he comes to PSU, could end up at LB instead of Safety (I have zero information on this, just noting what others have suggested).
