Thanks, LemonPie. Might you also be so kind as to post the click-steps needed by rubes like us, to achieve arrival at this same destination a TrackUI-savvy vet like yourself did? Pretty please?

Browse--Seasons--2019/20 College Men--NCAA--Teams--Penn State--Roster

What mrh1645 posted will work. Appears to be the same roster as I posted, just different order. It's a good browsing sequence to learn, because it can lead you to some match statistics during the season.

For what it's worth, I was actually using the Weight Management feature, which is:

Browse - Weight Management - 2019-2020 College Men - NCAA (dropdown menu) - Login - Teams - Penn State- Roster

Thanks. I hate to push my luck here, but you're friendly & track's UI is not, so I'm sticking with you for the moment...

Which tier in their Services menu do you use?
Is that Weight Management feature part of the free myTrack tier?
Do you pay them any $ for any data?

Everything I've ever gotten from track has been free. The specific weight management information is protected, so it's really only good for seeing who is certified and who isn't, but in most cases, you can still see the range of weight where the wrestler certified.

As for data access, I still haven't figured out if there is any benefit to a Track Gold or Gold plus subscription. Doesn't seem like it from their descriptions. If/when Gold plus extends their streaming coverage to collegiate events (open tournaments and such), then I might give it a look.

we have to be assigned the privilege to see the weight management for Jr high and HS. no clue what level we have bc the school pays for it.

There isn't really much to see here. There is only one guy listed at 157lbs and that is Bo Pipher who is listed at 149/157. I'm not sure why they wouldn't list Berge at 157lbs considering I think it's pretty obvious that's where he ends up unless maybe it isn't?

It does appear to confirm that Manville is taking an Olympic redshirt and Hall isn't.

In Berge's narrative it says he is switching weights this year.

Cenzo was listed at 149 his true FR year.

Point being, listed weights are the least reliable part of the official roster.

Not that it was a surprise, but, I was happy to see Teske listed at 125.

Does anyone know what is going on with Marco Vespa? Is he greyshirting? I know in @dicemen99 spreadsheet he is in true frosh (especially since he was supposed to come in with Busiello) but hes not listed nor have we heard about him backing out of the verbal

So I'm just getting a chance to review the updated roster.

I always am curious to see who is on it that we had not heard of/discussed previously. This year, we have:

- Terrell Barraclough, 149, Kaysville, Utah (Layton HS)
- Keagan Carmenatty, 197/285, Ovid, NY (South Seneca HS)
- Ritchie Heywood, 174/184, Heber, Utah (Wasatch HS)
- Joe Kurtz, 197, Easton, PA (Bethlehem Catholic HS)
- Eddie Smith, 184/197, Scotch Plains, NJ (Scotch Plains HS)

Once again, PSU has the potential to lose a lot of talent after this season. The following are listed as seniors:

- Anthony Cassar, 285
- Kyle Conel, 197
- Dom Giannangeli, 141
- Mark Hall, 174
- Cenzo Joseph, 165
- Shakur Rasheed, 184

Cassar was granted two additional years of eligibility, but I'd be surprised if he wrestles collegiately beyond this season. Cassar is a returning NCAA champ, and Hall and Joseph are former NCAA champs. Rasheed and Conel should be in the mix for the top of the podium provided they are able to avoid injuries.

Vespa not being on the roster is a surprise. I checked his Twitter account, and he lists "psu wrestling" in his information. Marco retweets a lot of NY sports stuff, as well as PSU wrestling stuff. On Sep 3, he tweeted out the following:

"I think you need to go through some stuff to really appreciate life and understand what it means to persevere, overcome and have faith. I think those tough times make you a stronger person."

I'm hesitant to read too much into the statement, as it's somewhat cryptic, plus Vespa is very religious, so it could be something that's simply focused on his religion. In time, I guess we'll find out what's up with him.

There's a great collection of talent in the guys listed as freshmen eligibility, including:

- Donovon Ball, 184
- Michael Beard, 197
- Aaron Brooks, 184
- Joe Lee, 165
- Seth Nevills, 285
- Carter Stracci, 174

It's surprising how small the junior class is. The only definite starter is Nick Lee, at 141. Bo Pipher (149/157) and Devin Schnupp (125) are the only other juniors that are projected to be contenders to start.

Cael and crew have done a good job of bringing in big classes of studs and then having lean (in terms of numbers) years after them to build up room for the next big class (if warranted). Seems to be working so far.

Going to hurt losing Cenzo-Marky-Shak-Conel-Cassar.... but replacing them next year with JLee-Starocci-Brooks-Beard-Snacks will lessen the pain :)

Happens to all teams, from what I've seen. I think of it like a puzzle.
-- Coaches look at the roster, and predict needs as best they can (best-guessing growth, etc.)
-- Coaches look at the High School wrestling talent
-- DECISION TIME!! Who to go after? Depth and talent disparity year-over-year is a thing. Coaches will wait a year for a better wrestler (especially if there's a PSU lean), or taking a kid early (since delayed enrollment is possible)
-- Remember, the room is limited to 37
-- Also remember, there are casualties each year. One to two true freshmen each year, on average, do not return for year two. Another one to two second year kids don't continue. Point is -- large classes will lose some rostered wrestlers.

At the end of the day, the goal is to have the best wrestler in the country at every weight class. It'll never happen, given all the dynamics, but the coaches have to think that way to stay on top.

And then next year with Robby and buau coming in that's scary

I wouldn't mind Richie Figs getting a change of heart and jumping over to the good guys. He is an amazing next level kid. I have to say I was pretty excited about Stevo until I saw that dismantling at WNO.

Bump Howard up to 133 and I would love the future bottom 1/3 of that lineup
