Ryder at 184 hmm, looks like barr staying put next year at 197. Also is 210or 215 weight class coming in the future?

I’m guessing that 184 works out better for Ryder to get in his 5 bouts without losing RS status. This because Starroci will likely get a number of duals off (more so than Haines at 174).
Longer term, I still see Ryder at 174, Barr at 184, and Mirasola at 197, though a lot can change between now and then.

8 minutes? Thanks for the words of encouragement!

Btw, I love the comments and they are all in good fun but I hesitate to post too much because we definitely do not need the mods stripping these comments off into an OT thread about my wife and myself. Nor do I need her seeing such a thread.

The sole remnants of my tomcat ways after over twenty years of being married are the gym and the raucousness here.

Just as Fred and Barney didn't have Wilma and Betty at the bowling alley or the Royal Order of Water Buffalo Lodge, this need not be mentioned around the womenfolk.

And there isn't much I won't tell the wife. She asked me once why I asked her out and I said "Dave bet me I wouldn't". Years later she said "I went home thinking who the hell would say that?", but added "then I realized you wouldn't lie-you don't know how".

And I don't lie-but I've learned a little discretion.

Kurt McHenry

Aaron Nagao

Cael Nasdeo

David Evans

Tyler Kasak

Joe Sealey

Matt Lee

Zack Ryder

Lucas Cochran

Cole Mirasola

Where would this "back up" lineup

Finish @ Nationals

Everyone on team now certified except Nagao, Sealey and Gibson. Wonder if that means those 3 are injured? Haven’t heard a thing about Sealey nor have I seen him in any of the numerous social media posts and pics. and the rumors of Nagao being injured

Only AAs I see are Nagao, Kasak and Ryder. If you added Connor Mirasola instead of Cochran, then that would be 4. 4 AA’s ..top 15?

Cochran has impressed me every time he has wrestled. I wouldn't sell him short.

It's hard to respond to this thread because I find it difficult to make statements when the underlying premise may/likely be wrong. I like Davis a lot but a healthy Nagao makes 133 a tossup. Likewise, while I like Facundo, beating Kasak at his normal 157 weight would be difficult. That again is predicated on Kasak even wrestling this year. Too many unknowns to answer the question. We will have a much better idea by early January, but the B1Gs lineup probably won't be certain until mid February.

I’d be shocked if a guy like Facundo hasn’t already changed his body the right way to get down to weight. I’d be shocked if he’s sucking that much weight during the season that it shows on the mat. I’d he did it the right way and continues to do it the right way hell be fine.

Not saying anything about how he compares to Kasak on the mat.

Considering Facudo looked thin at 165 two years ago, in his situation, I don't think there is a right way to make 157.

MODS: Could we get a thread named Ragdolling to discuss Paul’s sex life? TIA

Edit: The only reason I ask is that 8 minutes has been discussed and I’m curious how that works.

Yes some names will swap-

Still pretty impressive that PSU could be top 15 with back ups.

Add in Beard and BearClaw this is a top 8 team with backups

Be careful reading too much into Pyles' verbosity. He talked for 15 minutes about one of Carter's tweets.
