Fot those who have bought in the past, what's the drill on buying tickets for next year's tourney?

No specific info on the NCAA site.

Thought I saw somewhere that tickets go on sale on first day of this year's tourney, and max number per person is 4. But I'm curious:

1) What time do they go on sale?
2) Do they sell out quickly?
3) How do you which section is the PSU section?

Thanks

You will only be able to buy upper deck when they go on sale. If you look at the last 5 to 6 years PSU is in the same corner. If you can predict what corner and pick your upper deck section you might end up in the correct section but I believe you would be above the tickets already reserved for the schools. All that being said, I have never done it and I know you only have 4 hours or so to buy. Not sure on the time but they go on sale the day/morning before the tourney begins this year (ie 3/14)

Thank you for answering my question

So, my next question is how do you get tickets from the official PSU allotment?

Yeah tickets thru PSU got crazy this year. Went from always getting them to not being within 800 NLC of getting them.

About 1400 NLC point plus being a season ticket holder should get you some...it did this year, although in the upper deck

Yikes, I've watch wrestling matches from the upper deck before, but not since we've had such great TV coverage. Not sure it's worth it.

Anyway, thanks for the info.

Unless you are planning on increasing the NLC donations, it will be worse next year. Somewhere between the NCAA sending 1,500 to PSU and the 500 PSU was fortunate to receive fed-ex will lose a 1,000.

I called about 20 other ticket/athletic depts and finally found one with available tickets. I know people going thru American University, Lehigh, Clarion, Drexel several big ten schools.

...and Old Dominion, Lock Haven, Wyoming, UT-Chattanooga, Oklahoma, and maybe a few others. For those that kept trying, most that I know were rewarded with tickets, albeit not in the Penn State sections. Hockeygod, pa...intn, and others are great examples.

I have one ticket in the Oklahoma U section. Section 219. I paid $245 for it and it comes with 3 OU wrestling tourney t-shirts and an a ticket to their social at the Hilton Downtown Saturday between 3 & 6 p.m. It's yours for $245. Text or call 804-687-2235.

I got mine through Clarion. I’ve been a donating member of their wrestling club for a few years now. I know they had more requests than tickets this year for the first time. I only have about 300 NLC points, so I knew I would come up empty for PSU seats. I ended up in the same section as HockeyGod, so there’s obviously multiple schools in our section.

Just got through to OUR ticket office today. They said to get decent seats and spread PSU fans around the arena which would be freakin awesome...Call 1-800-GO BUCKS....Pains me to say those words but if that's what it takes to get thousands of our fans there that is fine with me....LETS GO STATE....LETS TAKE OVER THE ARENA...SMART KILLER MIND SET for every match !
