in Florida with no BTN, I was wondering any options ( if any) to watch the semis and finals? I do have BTN+ and hope to use phone or laptop for other sessions. Thanks

From BTN.com:

Big Ten Network's TV Everywhere service is now part of Fox Sports. In order to watch live streaming of televised games airing on Big Ten Network, FOX, or FS1 please visit FoxSports.com or download the Fox Sports app.

In order to watch live streaming of non-televised games, please visit B1G+.

B1G+ offers access to live streaming of non-televised events, next-day replays of all Big Ten games (including football), and access to the Big Ten Network's library of Classic Games and

I am getting conflicting answers. I guess my question is: will the Big Ten wrestling semis and finals be on the Fox sports app or the following day on btn+? Thanks

Are those two mutually exclusive?

The answer is both, but some may've assumed you wanted to watch the semis and finals live.
  • Will the Big Ten wrestling semis and finals be on the Fox sports app - Yes.
  • Will the Big Ten wrestling semis and finals be on the BTN+ - Yes, just not sure exactly when, but usually live events are made available the following day.
If you have BTN in your cable package, then you can use an app to stream BTN. If your provider is DirecTV then you can use the DirecTV App to watch BTN. But if you have a different cable provider without its own app, then you can generically use the Fox Sports App to watch semis and finals live.

You need to subscribe to BTN+ to watch quad box or individual mat feeds for any session live. A school pass or wrestling only pass subscription will be required. You just can't watch the BTN live feed on BTN+.

Sometime after BTN live events are broadcast, they are also made available on BTN+.

Thanks. Being 73 and from the era of trading wampum for beaver pelts i am technology declined. I have fox sports app and btn+ on phone but in fla. and no access to btn tv. I am hearing i can watch everything on the 2 apps but as for semis and finals am at the mercy of what matches the apps wish to show me?

Based on what you've written, I suggest just focusing on BTN+.

If you don't have BTN because you live in FL and no provider carries BTN (so you can't subscribe to BTN), then the Fox Sports App may be useless to you for streaming BTN live.

You can select any feed but the live BTN feed on BTN+. You can watch a prior day's BTN live feed (delayed by ~day) on BTN+.

I don't know whether BTN+ will provide separate mat feeds for the semis and finals on BTN+, so that you could watch something without full TV production (e.g., TV announcers, graphics).

That’s what I was thinking too but wasn’t sure enough to say.

According to the BTN.com post earlier in the thread, it say pretty clearly that the BTN network broadcast can be watched via the Fox Sports app. I just tried it and the Fox Sports app is showing the same thing as on my tv.

I did not do anything special to log in or give my cable provider. Maybe I was already logged in and/or it was smart enough to know BTN is available in my area. But I have not used it in so long that I didn’t even know I had it.

Should be easy to test. You can install the app right now and see if you can watch the current show on BTN.

I watch whatever I missed on YouTube the next day or listen to the psu broadcast on the app if I can’t see it but have cell service.

Yes, I used to use ustvgo.com and it was shut down. VPN for some of the channels.
I tried this site with my ipad and the pop ups were horrendous.. If I try it with a lap top the pop up blockers do their job and I can watch it..
Originally I was using the ipad..

Again, for those of you like me who don't have direct BTN access, I highly recommend the FuboTV free week trial. Yes, you have to enter credit card info but it's really easy to cancel before the week is up. I've had no issues with it (signed up and cancelled at least 6 times over the last couple years). And bonus, it's legal.

So you have created 6 different Email addresses to ge the free week?

I believe youtubetv has a free week as well. It did when I first signed up anyway.

I'm in FL. You just need Big10+ app. Then subscribe to Penn St $10 a month. You will get all the mats.

My tv is Roku. Can't get B10+ app. So I plugged in firestick. Problem solved

Here's the big 10 app on the Roku Channel store

Worked for me, and a good free option.
That being said, it's a site loaded with pop-ups so if you are "tech challenged" it can be a bit risky. Don't click on anything, don't allow any permissions, don't buy anything.

Any idea if who is on what mat and upcoming matches and mat assignments will be posted somewhere like is fone on track/flo? Thanks
