Why? I've seen this kid play. Granted its Wing T, but he is huge, can run and is strong! That's a great get!
dude get over yourself...you're just as annoying as the people u constantly criticize and make fun of...when good things happen be happy when bad things happen (like back-to-back year collapses) then its ok to criticize this coaching staff, especially with all the NFL talent this past team appeared to have
Love that we are actually addressing OL recruiting. Hopefully that means we’ll better distribute signings in the future. We should probably be signing an average of 4 OL each year.
You could tell me we signed 20 of these guys, and I’d say sign two more, just in case.

Agree that this is a good start but they need to be getting five or six lineman a year to commit because of the portal.

I always root for PSU to win. But if they don't......it doesn't make me piss and moan every day for a year. If it hurts that much.....don't do it. It's just common sense. If my posts upset you good! There is an ignore feature.
Thanks for letting me know I've been watching a "big time college football program since 1966.." That really opens my eyes, now.....I'm freaking furious! LOL
The OL is light on scholarship players right now, so 6 for 2023 may be the over/under. And really need 3 true OT's. Two of the 4 commits are listed as OT's but they aren't too long and tall to play inside either. I look for at least one taller, true OT to be added to this class.

again i really don't bitch and moan that much...i have like 140 posts since 2019 and i can guarantee u they weren't all negative...u just seem really sensitive to any criticism to the coaching staff at all...maybe you're related or friends with someone on staff i don't know...i wasn't bitching and moaning much during those years because the staff did a good job, not perfect but good...but when they underperform i'm allowed to not be super positive about everything like u...i think that seems pretty fair and reasonable and if u can't understand that then we can agree to disagree

I'm in the middle on this (I wouldn't have fired CJF but he needs to start winning at a much higher rate very soon) but recruiting well has never been the argument of those that want him gone so what's your point other than to start an argument?

The point is the incessant whining and complaining of the CJF haters consistently fails to acknowledge fully his strengths and focus solely on his flaws (which 99.9% of coaches have), and is therefore both tired and ridiculous. That’s the point.
You're hyping up him being a strong recruiter which is never something the other side bashes just encourages them and, if anything, makes it come across as you believe they're right and are desperately trying to find a positive.

Am in the right thread? I am super pumped that psu has two top offensive linemen in this class. Still need another OT.
Keep in mind that CJF has a 10 year contract. It isn't likely PSU is looking for another coach for a long time. His buyout is 7 million plus X the number of years left on the deal. So firing him after 2023 would cost north of 56 million dollars. So those who want him gone....might start saving their pennies?
