Seeing the agony of Franklin haters is so rewarding! I can only hope God grants me 10 more years to enjoy it.Fantastic! Franklin haters gonna be pissed! Way to go CJF!
WE ARE!!!
Why? I've seen this kid play. Granted its Wing T, but he is huge, can run and is strong! That's a great get!Good news, not gonna be popular here.
dude get over yourself...you're just as annoying as the people u constantly criticize and make fun of...when good things happen be happy when bad things happen (like back-to-back year collapses) then its ok to criticize this coaching staff, especially with all the NFL talent this past team appeared to haveSeeing the agony of Franklin haters is so rewarding! I can only hope God grants me 10 more years to enjoy it.
Love that we are actually addressing OL recruiting. Hopefully that means we’ll better distribute signings in the future. We should probably be signing an average of 4 OL each year.
So what you are saying is that "its ok to criticize this coaching staff," but not to disagree with those that do?dude get over yourself...you're just as annoying as the people u constantly criticize and make fun of...when good things happen be happy when bad things happen (like back-to-back year collapses) then its ok to criticize this coaching staff, especially with all the NFL talent this past team appeared to have
I couldn't agree more. Good things don't play well with the clientele here. Why? I've seen this kid play. Granted its Wing T, but he is huge, can run and is strong! That's a great get!
Agree that this is a good start but they need to be getting five or six lineman a year to commit because of the portal.Love that we are actually addressing OL recruiting. Hopefully that means we’ll better distribute signings in the future. We should probably be signing an average of 4 OL each year.
Oh, bullshit.I couldn't agree more. Good things don't play well with the clientele here.
Didn't they have a stud tight end as well?I saw him play last year against Danville and Southern Columbia this year. Looked like a man amongst boys. I know they ran Wing T. But, he played some D on crucial short yardage plays. Plenty athletic to develop pass blacking skills. He got downfield with ease.
i never said u couldn't disagree with people who criticize the coaching staff but u don't have to consistently bring up people who are negative in like all your posts to make some point...it gets old...like the people u criticize...and just for shits and giggles do u think the last two year collapses with a fair amount of NFL talent are ok?...if PSU goes 7-6 again can then people complain?...or would that be too much for u to handle?...i mean this is a big-time college football program we are talking hereSo what you are saying is that "its ok to criticize this coaching staff," but not to disagree with those that do?
Makes perfect sense....dude.
I always root for PSU to win. But if they don't......it doesn't make me piss and moan every day for a year. If it hurts that much.....don't do it. It's just common sense. If my posts upset you good! There is an ignore feature.i never said u couldn't disagree with people u criticize the coaching staff but u don't have to consistently bring up people who are negative in like all your posts to make some point...it gets old...like the people u criticize...and just for shits and giggles do u think the last two year collapses with a fair amount of NFL talent are ok?...if PSU goes 7-6 again can then people complain?...or would that be too much for u to handle?...i mean this is a big-time college f ootball program we are talking here
The NNCAC carries a heavy burden.Better run it by the board first
The OL is light on scholarship players right now, so 6 for 2023 may be the over/under. And really need 3 true OT's. Two of the 4 commits are listed as OT's but they aren't too long and tall to play inside either. I look for at least one taller, true OT to be added to this class.Love that we are actually addressing OL recruiting. Hopefully that means we’ll better distribute signings in the future. Let’s hope At least it looks like they are trying to address this problem. The OL is light on scholarship players right now, so 6 for 2023 may be the over/under. And really need 3 true OT's. why would u want your posts to upset other people?...it seems like u have some odd agenda then...plus u have been on this board and posting a lot more than me over years and years (like 16,675 messages - seems like u might be a little obsessed)...i definitely don't piss and moan everyday...i brought up big-time college football because it seems you are surprised when fans complain about coaches who underachieve back to back years...that is very common in "big-time college football"...i like how u totally dodged my question so i say again and please answer it directly...do u think the last two year collapses with a fair amount of NFL talent are ok?...if PSU goes 7-6 again can then people complain?...again please answerI always root for PSU to win. Thanks for letting me know I've been watching a "big time college football program since 1966.." That really opens my eyes, now.....I'm freaking furious! LOL
I certainly didn't enjoy the past two seasons, but I did appreciate the trips to the Rose, Fiesta and Cotton Bowls. Now answer my question. What good does your bitching and moaning do? Never mind.....I already know the answer. Jack shit.why would u want your posts to upset other people?...it seems like u have some odd agenda then...plus u have been on this board and posting a lot more than me over years and years (like 16,675 messages - seems like u might be a little obsessed)...i definitely don't piss and moan everyday...i brought up big-time college football because it seems you are surprised when fans complain about coaches who underachieve back to back years...that is very common in "big-time college football"...i like how u totally dodged my question so i say again and please answer it directly...do u think the last two year collapses with a fair amount of NFL talent are ok?...if PSU goes 7-6 again can then people complain?...again please answer
again i really don't bitch and moan that much...i have like 140 posts since 2019 and i can guarantee u they weren't all negative...u just seem really sensitive to any criticism to the coaching staff at all...maybe you're related or friends with someone on staff i don't know...i wasn't bitching and moaning much during those years because the staff did a good job, not perfect but good...but when they underperform i'm allowed to not be super positive about everything like u...i think that seems pretty fair and reasonable and if u can't understand that then we can agree to disagreeI certainly didn't enjoy the past two seasons, but I did appreciate the trips to the Rose, Fiesta and Cotton Bowls. Man, you are quickly dropping below the Mendoza line.Good news, not gonna be popular here.
I'm in the middle on this (I wouldn't have fired CJF but he needs to start winning at a much higher rate very soon) but recruiting well has never been the argument of those that want him gone so what's your point other than to start an argument?Fantastic! Franklin haters gonna be pissed! Way to go CJF!
WE ARE!!!
The point is the incessant whining and complaining of the CJF haters consistently fails to acknowledge fully his strengths and focus solely on his flaws (which 99.9% of coaches have), and is therefore both tired and ridiculous. Your second sentence is gospel.Quick reminder to the average mouth breathers here - UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES shall you ever criticize a football coach. They are thinking on levels we can't even understand, like playing 4D chess while we're playing go fish.
Aristotle, Socrates? Fools compared to coaches of football. Everything they do is right, so just sit, watch, and soak in their genius. That is all.
You're hyping up him being a strong recruiter which is never something the other side bashes just encourages them and, if anything, makes it come across as you believe they're right and are desperately trying to find a positive. The point is the incessant whining and complaining of the CJF haters consistently fails to acknowledge fully his strengths and focus solely on his flaws (which 99.9% of coaches have), and is therefore both tired and ridiculous. You’ve missed my point entirely. Sorry, you did. I’m done trying. Have a pleasant evening. You're hyping up him being a strong recruiter which is never something the other side bashes just encourages them and, if anything, makes it come across as you believe they're right and are desperately trying to find a positive.
Keep in mind that CJF has a 10 year contract. It isn't likely PSU is looking for another coach for a long time. His buyout is 7 million plus X the number of years left on the deal. So firing him after 2023 would cost north of 56 million dollars. So those who want him gone....might start saving their pennies?I'm in the middle on this (I wouldn't have fired CJF but he needs to start winning at a much higher rate very soon) but recruiting well has never been the argument of those that want him gone so what's your point other than to start an argument?

Funny ......it was Marshall that first went negative.Way to eff up a thread that should bring us a moment of happiness. If the kid reads the reactions to a thread on hi commitment, I can only imagine what will go through his mind the first time he gives up a sack. Knock off the negative s__t!
Fortunately the recruits have consistently demonstrated that they are more mature and far more common sense than many of the “adult” posters on this board.Way to eff up a thread that should bring us a moment of happiness.
