FB Recruiting 2025 NATIONAL SIGNING DAY CENTRAL

It's still his job to get the money--which I still believe we have more money to spend than is being said
As McAfee said "these Penn State dudes are being paid well too" when we were playing Ohio State
How does that work? Does he get a gun and put it to the boosters head, or get on his knees and beg lol. I think I'm about done with college football, at least there is a salary cap in the NFL.

NIL exists in the NFL...its why free agents prefer certain markets.
Franklin's job is to secure the money. Its out there. He may not like that aspect of his job but that's reality in 2024. And I still think many of you are underestimating how much NIL money we have.
One way you get more money is to win titles.

You don't need top 5 classes, but consistent really good classes with athletic types with real potential to be special. If they don't develop, they portal out after a couple of seasons. Franklin has been good at looking at potential. Not all hit but some do and now you're not stuck with an underperformer or lazy player.

Too much talent can be difficult to manage.

Well, looks like we’re ranked between 16 and 18 from what I see for this class. I posted an article that listed NIL funding, and we were a 11th in that list. I love Franklin, but perhaps he could’ve done a bit better in this cycle. This cycle was absolutely dominated by the SEC. Big big money at places like Texas.
Things will turn around soon enough. It's about money now.

Within 3 years SEC teams (you read that right) will be the ones crying for more regulation regarding how much "student athletes" should be paid. Watch the California, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ohio money start rolling in. Northwestern alumni probably have the most money. Texa$ and Georgia will hold their own. But Alabama? Will be a different era.
