Overall, I have been disturbed for years that coaches leave for their pay day (can't blame them!), but the students could not do the same. This will create some mayhem with teams constantly picking up new free agents (Harbaugh has made a career on transfers already).
As some of you have already mentioned, this will force ADs to think twice about firing their current coach as they may lose key players as well.
However, what would happen if their coach "retires" and is not hired by another team? Think about Sabah retiring in 5 years...what happens with their players?
