Tre Nixon, one of the highest rated recruits on the PSU board, who almost everyone had given up on, may now be leaning to PSU per Ryan's sources. Brendan Ferns, a 4 star LB from Ohio, with offers from OSU, LSU, A&M and others, who most of us had also given up on, will choose PSU per Josh's prediction. Quinn Nordin, who most expect to decommit, is now more likely to stick with PSU as Michigan's senior kicker announced he will return for a 5th year and they have a true FR K on the roster. This was reported by pennlive. Finally, within the past few days many have speculated that Hudson is now likely to choose PSU.
So Dioubate has decided PSU is not for him. Good luck to him but we will survive just fine, possibly with the help of the 4 young men mentioned above. Somehow we have survived the loss of other in-state recruits such as Joe Namath, Jim Kelly, Jon Richie, Ricky Watters, Terry Hanratty, Jimmy Jones, and many many more. Not suggesting this kid is not going to be a fine player. But we will get kids who want to be at Penn State and in the long term those are the kids we will win with.
