Our freshman and sophomores totaled 110 which would have tied for the championship. Add in Suriano and Cortez (estimated 20 and 10 points) and it could easily have been 140.

Suriano, Nolf, Nickal and Retherford all failed to win the NC as freshmen, but each of them beat the champion at their weight during the year.
