After only four weeks it seems this fan base has never been so divided this early in a season where we have lost two games we were underdogs in. Here is where the line is drawn.

Some of us are still behind Franklin and this coaching staff, agree with the new offensive philosophy, appreciate the high level of recruiting building toward the future, appreciate that BO'B was limited in his recruiting ability to leave CJF with quality upper classmen along the lines which is where these games are won and lost. We are not jaded by the fact that JoePa's teams of the 70s-90s dominated east coast football in a way we will never see again. We realize this is a new world of college football where coaching staffs that constantly turn over have difficulty maintaining recruits and continuous success, that Rome wasn't built overnight, that Franklin has been a great figurehead and ambassador for our football program, he connects with recruits and players and younger alumni. That we are still rebuilding and setting unrealistic expectations for this young team not only sets the fan base up for disappointment but also sets recruiting efforts back where recruits are expecting a much better product on the field than is realistic (more so questioning how long Franklin and staff will be kept around). We see there is a lot of potential on this team as they gain more experience, maybe not to win a conference championships every year but to be competitive in a loaded division. And we see a gamer in trace mcsorely while not a world beater, someone who could bridge the gap to a more highly regarded recruit like a Sean Clifford who could be one to take us to greater heights.

Then there are those that can't stand Franklin, want to move on
To the next guy and start the rebuilding process all over again...those that will never be satisfied because they don't understand what it takes to rebuild a program in this new competitive environment and the time it takes to get quality recruits to fit a system to be able to compete with the conferences best...

I'm not going to panic or throw in the towel because we face a rough road ahead his year but stay positive that we have the right foundation in place to continue the rebuilding process towards being continuously competitive and not a shot in the dark
