Just noticed he's not on the roster any more. It's really none of my business--but does anyone know anything?

Busiello and Pipher are both in the portal and didn't find new destinations it appears.
I'm surprised Bo did not find a new home, if he really wanted one. I always thought he was a D1 starter someplace. And potentially a guy that could earn a spot at the tournament.

I love Adam! The thing that many forget is that college is an important time of growth and maturity. The big picture is establishing positive habits to contribute to society and maybe even improve it. Adam is working on that and it’s a lot more important than wrestling. For those who care? He is doing well.
As one who cares thank you John.

This is precisely why I created the thread. I’m very glad to hear he is doing well!

Pipher regularly posts pictures on IG from where he grew up in western CO, so I assume he is back there now.

I lived there for a few years. Bo's family is legendary in wrestling on the western slope and his uncle coaches at Colorado Mesa and his sister was with their womens program. I think he is a notch above that level though.

John stops by to keep his like #’s up, seeing as how he is in the negative over tHeRe.

I have been pulling for Adam since seeing the picture of him in middle school (?) in his PSU singlet. Things don’t always turn out like people plan, but I am so happy to hear he is still pursuing his dream.

Thanks for the feedback. I might be wrong, but it sounds like he's still at Penn State (but not wrestling) then.

Adam was one kid where I think genetics finally caught up to him IMO. When he committed early to PSU he was destroying all comers. I grew 6 inches in 1 year in Highschool and wasn't able to put the catch up weight back on until college. Adam had so much talent but proved a little too lanky to keep pace with elite much stronger kids up a few weight classes. From everything I have read about him, he's a great kid, I hope things work out the best for him.

Maybe 500 post threads about 8th graders is a bit premature?

Impressively thoughtful. Thanks.

A couple of good examples are Zahid Valencia and DT. Zahid started his HS career as a lightweight and was around 165-170 by the time he graduated. DT was the same way, he won Ironman at 106 his freshman year (if memory serves) then was wrestling 157 by the time he stepped on campus as a college freshman

Or Cael. 119 lbs his freshman year of hs. Obviously grew quite a bit!
