With Fina and crew's abuse/misuse of the GJ system (a GJ system he is currently abusing to try and take down a duly elected PA AG mind you) in PA for the past 8 years or so you'd think the FBI/U.S. Attorneys in PA would be all over Fina...maybe they already are for all we know.

The U.S. Attorneys would be the perfect outlet for Kane to turn to if she did feel the corruption in PA was too entrenched for her to take down by herself.

Plus, since we are now in a situation where a county DA (R) is bringing charges against a state AG (D) perhaps the U.S. Attorneys/Feds are the only folks who can step in an adjudicate this mess? Otherwise how is it possible, if Kane's case does go to trial, for either side to not have COI's if the trial is in a state court or county court?

The MAIN issue was the undercover person (Ali) getting ALL 2,088 charges against him for defrauding the state out of $400K+ dropped by fina WEEKS before Kane took office thus removing any leverage the OAG had to compel him to cooperate and testify in trial, etc.. Without Ali's cooperation (who NEVER should have been given this deal in the first place mind you) the case was a complete dumpster fire. The entire reason for the deal was his cooperation in the case. To claim you can't prosecute because of the person you just signed off on a deal for is asinine.

More importantly, THEY HAD IT ON TAPE!!! They took the bribes, period. There's no way around it.

At the very least she had responsibility to make sure the officials were removed from their positions. According to Williams it wasn't even turned over to the State Ethics Commission.

All available evidence points to her playing party politics and getting exposed.

Believe whatever you want. Fact is she decided to publicly claim she had evidence that didn't exist. If you really think it's reasonable to believe any other claims she made I don't know what to tell you.

The only person who's getting exposed for playing politics is Fina and his cronies (or did you forget about those 20 MILLION emails he's trying desperately to keep hidden via his GJ manipulation and calls for Kane to resign due to the criminal charges brought by his cronies??).

First of all, the "deal" never should have been on the table in the first place. In what logical world does a prosecutor give the big fish a COMPLETE PASS to go after some minnows? In the non bizarro/non corrupt world it's the other way around -- use the minnows to take out the big fish (aka Ali). Secondly you don't cut a deal like that with a KEY witness BEFORE the trial has even happened. Once everything is said and done THEN you cut the deal for their cooperation.

Why in the world would Fina nolle pros. all the charges (those charges were the only reason Ali was cooperating in the first place, genius) against Ali right as Fina was about to leave the OAG anyway...why not leave that decision up to the next OAG who was just about to take office?? It makes no sense unless he was deliberately trying to sandbag the case so he could pin it on Kane when she was forced to admit the case was garbage and not prosecutable due to fina's antics/bungling of the whole investigation.

As I've asked and Aoshiro has also pointed out, if the case was such a slam dunk why didn't Fina, Kelly, or Ryan do ANYTHING with it?? They sat on it for a year and a half doing next to nothing. Then, weeks before Kane takes office in 2013, boom, nolle pros deal between fina and his boy Ali. How convenient!! That doesn't strike you as odd??

At the very least Fina had a responsibility to prosecute the guy who defrauded the state's elderly and young out of $400,000+. Fina is the one who should be reprimanded for giving Ali the deal of the century all so he could go after some black democrats who collectively took less than 20,000 in unreported gifts.

Oh yeah, and don't forget...Fina's botched blingsting investigation also had OVER $30,000 of unaccounted for money/expenses, which ironically is MORE than the 5 philly democats supposedly took.. Whoopsies! Where's your outrage over that?? Perhaps he should be prosecuted for misplacing tax payer $$$....
