Similar photo at the end of PSU - FSU 2005/6 Orange bowl. Sorry, don't have the photo but immediately after the field goal in the 3rd OT to win the game, a PSU lineman(I forget who) reaches down with a helping hand to an FSU lineman sitting dejected on the field. One of my all time favorite PSU photos. Sportsmanship that is rarely seen these days.Nice story in the PPG today

I vote for frame 24 if you properly crop it. Isolate just the two men and it is better. Tittle is more slumped in 24, showing his defeat and dejection. Add in the interaction between the two adds both more feeling and mystery.Nice story in the PPG today

Good thing that this was caught on film. There weren't a lot of fans in attendance to remember the result of the play !Nice story in the PPG today

Yes, Bill Saul from Butler, PA was a 2-way starter at center and linebacker in the early 60's at PSU. I think he also played for the Redskins at some point in his career.I'm surprised that no one has mentioned that Bill Saul was a Penn Stater.
I was actually at the Y.A. game. My Dad took me and it was my first pro football game. That photo appeared in Life Magazine the following week.Nice story in the PPG today

Looks like $6.29When I was a kid, Coca-Cola had a promotion with NFL player photos inside their bottle caps. Every kid in the neighborhood wanted YA Tittle's. I must've drink 50+ cokes before I finally got one. I kept that collection for years...until I joined the Navy and my Mom cleaned my room. Wonder what those things would be worth today?
