Pitt, Temple, WVU, Rutgers. Hey, good news. Our BIGGEST RIVAL Rutgers did not lose their bowl game!
"What's that honey? What?" My wife says Rutgers did not lose because they are not in a bowl. Is that possible? THE Scarlet Knights were left out? Damn. There goes the New York TV market.:(

The Knightie's did get dizzy though, while swirling around the Tidy Bowl.

We don't play WVU, and you left off Maryland.

Rutgers--haven't you heard? Every day is a bowl game in Piscataway. They're perpetually circling the toilet bowl.

Technicalities. Mere technicalities. WVU is our rival. Just ask them.

Does a Bowl loss hurt Pitts National Championship dreams?

Not in the least.
Their 1936 INC team had a loss AND a tie.
Their 1929, 1931, and 1934 imaginary national championship teams each had a loss as well.
Their 1918 imaginary national championship team had a record of only
4-1.

Losses do not deter Pitt from claiming imaginary national championships.
