that the following athletes and coaches train at PSU/NLWC as residents:

Cael Sanderson
Casey Cunningham
Cody Sanderson
Tatsuhiro Yonemitsu (he's been here about a year, so that's more than just dropping in)
Jake Varner
Franklin Gomez
Frank Molinaro
David Taylor
Eric Thompson
Moza Fay
Zain Retherford
Nico Megaludis
Matt Brown
Bo Nickal
Jason Nolf
Morgan McIntosh
Brad Pataky
Mark McKnight
Vlad Dombrovskiy
Victor Terrell
Jon Gingrich (although is he heading to football?)

Soon to be joined by two HS seniors that are already on the Olympic Senior ladder in Hall & Manville.
Not too mention Nick Suriano, Jered Cortez, Vincenzo Joseph, Matt McCutcheon, Anthony Cassar, Nick Nevills, etc.

It's kind of amazing isn't it? Is there a collection that even comes close to this outside the OTC? Close as in 75%?

And I'm not even counting guys that drop in occasionally.

Do you mean other than the Minnesota Storm? "Representing the United States in every Olympics since 1968"

"Since the 2012 London Olympics, athletes of the Minnesota Storm have competed in 59 international tournaments. We have represented the United States in 24 countries around the world and we have won 64 international medals in Greco Roman or freestyle competition."

That's actually a great point. Touche' jammenz.

I should have qualified with "a collection that comes close to that - in terms of talent that is recognized by Americans"

Don't fall for it -- Jammen once again steered the question into a different direction, one favorable to him. Typical, did it by substituting history when the question was about current roster depth and accomplishment.

Minnesota Storm has 8 total wrestlers on its roster: http://mn-storm.org/wp/?page_id=11

2 of them qualified for the Olympic Trials. (Note, J Rob's secretary pool apparently not MN Storm members.)

BTW, Dice, is Jaime Espinal still with the NLWC? Because he qualified for Rio.

Thanks - just assumed that all the greco wrestlers in the US were assembling up in Minnesota because....well, because I don't pay much attention to it.

I don't believe he is a resident there anymore which is why I didn't list him, but I could be wrong on that.

A slight correction for historical accuracy. The US did not have any representatives in the Moscow 1980 Olympics due to the US boycott that year.

The RTC over in Columbus is pretty stacked. NaTo, Logan, Humphrey, Snyder, Bergman, Tervel

True, but in the respective rooms, there are:

Olympic gold medalists: NLWC 3, ORTC 0
Senior world medalists: NLWC 4 (5 medals), ORTC 2 (3 medals)
Cadet or junior world medalists: NLWC 2 (4 if you count incoming recruits), ORTC 2

I agree. When you throw in their staff - Jaggers, Roselli, Ryan & then the current Buckeyes there are a lot of elite bodies. Cliff Keen/Michigan also with Russell, Herbert, Kennedy, Micic, Futrell, Felix, Habat, Bormet, Churella, Hrovat & then all the guys on the Michigan team (Coon, Massa, Massa, Abounader, Pantaleo, Youtsey, etc).

But stlll not the volume of elite bodies on a full-time basis that the NLWC has. Maybe Michigan might be the closest. I guess you could say Sunkist, but how many of those guys are there full-time?
