I just picked up 3 different brands of eau de toilette. Polo Red Rush. Mont Blanc Legend Spirit and Versace Eau Fraiche. I just was wondering what brands and particular cologne some of the folks on the board like. Ladies opinions also would be greatly welcomed. This is the first time trying the Versace brand for me and the Red Rush by Polo although I have used the Polo Red Intense before. The MBLS has earned me a few compliments from ladies that like the pleasant scent that it has. In advance I would expect some comedic responses as well as some man of the world responses also and all will be appreciated. Hey maybe we can dub one brand fragrance the official cologne of the McAndrew Board. Lol.

I prefer Aqua Di Gio but here is an article that links some women preferred scents.

Acqua di parma

I wear Yves St Laurent Lhomme but a different version of the one they have as #1

I wear Lhomme Intense. Get compliments on it every time I wear it but it’s a very “formal” cologne. Not necessarily one you’d wear on a daily basis
I am retired so I go out about twice a week either on a date or by myself so I am sure I could consider that. Thank you.

My thoughts exactly. No disrespect intended to those who put on a splash, but putting on cologne has never once entered my mind.
You ought to consider it. The dog might start playing with you again. Just kidding. So Jim why do you feel that way. Does the smell turn you off or is it just something you never really thought about?

not Jim but I stopped wearing cologne because my current gf (6 years now) just doesn't like it. So there is a percentage of women who find cologne off-putting.

Don't over-do it. There is a guy at work who can be smelled from 20+ feet away. His cologne aura is overpowering

That’s the smell of desire, my lady...

EDIT: haven’t worn cologne in over 5 years. Now I just use a few rubs of the body lotion they make to accompany the cologne. That way I still have my fragrance of choice (Bulgari) and it’s only noticeable when close. Helps avoids the Brian Fantana situation above.

Aren't Drakkar and Polo the only cologne they make?
Married 20+ years, and haven't worn cologne for at least a decade, so I admittedly might not be the best authority on the subject...

I don't use (or need) cologne. The buldge in my pants is all I need.

Buldge? Okay, perhaps that bulge is a dictionary?
