Alumni Election Trustee Ballot Positions

I'd start with "don't go radio silent after getting elected" first, then work our way up.

Don't disagree, but the person has to be inclined to go to afterburners quickly. We've seen the way Dambly and Lubert work.

Next year I will nominate and vote for Barry. I will say this though, if you put as much effort into gather the 250 nominations as you do being a thorn in every ones backside you would have been elected as a trustee by now.

Please start a somewhat positive nomination process now and be serious about it in January.

you will get elected if you do that.

The position of my ballot is the bottom of file 13, the same place that PSU's fundraising letters go.

YMMV

.

We all recognize the challenges with serving on a body comprised of 38 members, 36 of who vote. Many of these people are uninformed and unprepared for meetings.

I have no doubt that would not describe Barry’s service.

In 2015, Barry addressed the Board during the Public Comment period. Truer words were never spoken. Needless to say BOT members, particularly then Chair Keith Masser, were not amused.

Barry isn't stupid- far from it. If he REALLY wanted to be elected, he could have managed it by now by doing what you suggest.

It's easier (and a lot more fun) to throw bombs from outside. Not that I blame him really, the idea that alumni elected trustees can fix what's wrong is silly at best.

You lost me at 38 members. Is that the only part of the Fraud Freeh report the BOTS didn't follow as gospel?
