On Ferns: We are talking about a smart kid. One who hasn't made a difficult decision yet. If he is truly going to visit PSU again, then it is to try and eliminate us, so he can go along with his Mom and family. In the end, he will use that visit to explain why he chooses to blaze his own trail, and get his family's blessing. I wouldn't want it any other way. When he chooses Penn State it will be his decision and his conviction. He will be a much better player and student here than at WV because of it. I think he chooses wisely. He would be choosing the better school for football and academics.

I'm lukewarm on this Pryts kid. if he's not smart enough to have made up mind by now, I'm not really sure PSU really wants him. We are sufficiently deep at his position and his going elsewhere actually frees up a scholly for a bigger position of need (and someone more interested).

I suspect that the door has closed on Hudson, now that we have Pryts. Both are currently projected as safeties. Maybe they'd take Hudson later if they strike out on a few of the others, but as of right now I don't think they take his commitment.
