I too was surprised after he was a no-show for the White Out. Someone mentioned that had seen him play that his foot movement wasn't very good. Probably not a tackle, but could be a big guard prospect. Probably needs to be worked over in the weight program by Coach Gault.

Happy he chose PSU over the Terps.

PSU isn't reaching for anybody in this class. If he got a scholarship offer this year, he must be quite an athlete. People that big with quick feet are very, very rare.

He looked pretty good in this video against 4* DE Beau Atkinson and 4* DE Anto Saka

He's not necessarily raw, but you can tell he's used to bullying people with his size vs beating them with technique. Not a bad thing, just an observation. You can't teach 6'6 and 310-330 though. With the improvement Traut has made with our OL, the kid might get his wish of early PT. We'll need a RT in two years after Wallace.

You think Wallace will be around for next year? I would love that, but wishful thinking.

Welcome to Penn State, Andre Roye & family!!

Awesome. Phil Trautwein's always been a big fan of Andre Roye from Day 1. We definitely need more jumbo athletes paving the way up front. This really rounds out the class and fills our needs. Nobody really knew where he stood because he's been so discreet. Definitely assumed he was going to Maryland, great news for PSU.

Yeah. I don’t really love this verbal personally, but Traut has definitely wanted this kid for a while. So it’s good news

also good to just get into St Frances and it can’t hurt with Barham

Andy Reid when he was with the Eagles loved getting college OTs and making them into guards. I bet Traut is heading in that direction. Give Traut time, he likes them big. My sense is we will not get out muscled over time.
