I watch Michigan State’s women’s team because I used to coach their point guard. But they didn’t make the tournament so I’m not watching it.

The talent disparity in womens basketball seems to be a top 5, then top 6-20, then everyone else.

There's only been 1 14/15/16 seed to ever win their opening game. And while that was a 16-seed, it was because the #1 team lost its best 2 players to ACL injuries the weeks before the tourney.
