Coming on top of his claim that he would issue an executive order to end birth-rite American citizenship (a policy I support that can't be done by executive order) which is unnecessarily harmful among new American citizens who are trending Republican if the Republicans would just let them into the party, he now wants National Abortion Restrictions. One of the basic points in overruling Roe v Wade was that this should be a matter left to the individual states. Makes no practical sense. How would the Feds enforce such a law in California and New York, whose voters and officials are strongly opposed to most abortion restrictions.
