Anyone know the Penn St section @ Indiana?**

From my experience the one time I went there for a game, any one you choose. We bought our tickets and then just sat about 20-30 rows back at the 50. Nobody questioned us.

The actual visiting fan section seating is section 1, 2, 101, and 102. As alluded to in this thread, you can pretty much relocate to anywhere you want. I'd buy the cheapest ticket I could find and then move down to section 1 or 2 if you want to sit solely with PSU fans, but there should be a quite a few PSU fans sprinkled in across the Penn State side of the stadium.

The knock on Memorial Stadium from visiting fans is that it's a great game to bring the family to, because you'll get great seats at a very low price. Fans of big time programs, unless they're heavy donors, don't usually get to see their team this close.

Thanks for the info! Are Sections 1, 2, 101, 102 on the visitors side?

Yea they're on the far end of the visitors' side, near the endzone (blue area on the map).

Hey, Gramps :), when you state "buy the cheapest ticket I could find" what should I suggest to my 16-year old scalping for his first time? Will $20 get him into the stadium? At supper tonight, I said I would start by walking around with a $10 and go from there. He and a buddy or two are making the trip.

Also, on the route 37 construction; is there another easier way coming off of I-69 from the north to get into Bloomington? Travel time from here will be 4 hours withOUT construction. He may have to leave around 6:30 to make the game when you include buying a ticket.

Thanks for hanging around here this week, and for your assistance.

You can buy tickets on stubhub for $30 at this point. Doesn't seem worth the hassle to look for scalped tickets, especially when facing a time crunch after a long drive. I doubt he'd get anything below $20 from a scalper. Students would dump the tickets for cheap, but he'd need an ID and student tickets are delivered to smart phones now to be scanned rather than a physical ticket. I said buy the cheapest ticket possible so that nobody drops $80 for a 15th row ticket.

He can still take 37 down from Indy, but he may want to look into finding his way onto Old SR 37, which parallels SR 37.

We're staying with friends in Lafayette Friday night and driving down Sat morning. Was looking at coming down I-70 from Indy to Hwy 231 trough Spencer.
