Are Utley and Rollins the best second baseman and shortstop duo to play 10+ years together in NL history? I'd pick them over Lopes and Russell. Not many duos played 10+ years together. Trammell and Whitaker the best in AL history to play 10+ years together?

Nope. Robin Yount and Paul Molitor. Played together from 1978 to 1992. Both in the HOF. The best I can think of for 10+ years together.

They were great, but there wasn’t too many games with Yount and Molitor and SS and 2nd. Yount moved from SS in 84. Molitor played everywhere, but many more games at 3rd over 2nd. Looks like they only had a year or two playing short and 2nd together.

According to baseball-reference.com, Molitor only played seven seasons at second base.

Since ten years seems kind of arbitrary I say Dick Groat and Bill Mazeroski were the best long term double play combination. They played together 7 years. Both were two time world champions. Maz is in the HOF. Groat should be. He was the MVP one year and finished second to Sandy Koufax another. He was a batting champ and 8 time all-star. As a bonus he had his basketball number retired at Duke and played in the NBA.

Morgan and Concepcion played eight years together.
