Last game in the regular college football season
OMG
As an Army JAG with a long career both Active and Pa Army Nat Guard , 28th ID, I had conflict for whom to root.
my brother’s last game as a College football coach was at Navy against Army and before the game he and the rest of the staff were told that they would be fired because they had not beaten Army enough.
At the end of the game, when they sang the Navy Hymn he cried.
My son was offered by Navy. Instead he went to Cornell and beat Navy one year for the Sprint football championship. Today he is an Naval Aviator Instructor Pilot
I also went with him on the Carrier Teddy Roosevelt in 2015 from Pearl Harbor to San Diego.
I tear when I think about all of these connections and what this game means.
