Article: Miles Sanders "best running back..."

Good for him. Looks like he made the right choice leaving early and certainly takes the sting out of it as a fan. On the plus side, having two starting RB's in the NFL certainly won't hurt PSU's RB recruiting.

I wish he had come back and had a gang buster season.....at the same time, I think our running back situation this year is very very good. If he had stayed we might not have gotten one or two of our recruits.

Shouldn’t be too much of a surprise to anyone who watched him play here last season. He was spectacular.

Respectfully, spectacular? Really?

Five fumbles, four lost last year. (Ten fumbles, seven lost in his career.) Game changer at the end of the half last year vs. tOSU. And a lot of drops & non-catches as a targeted receiver.

He was a good hard tough runner, very good at times. But spectacular, sorry, that word never came to mind.

That said, it would be cool if he became spectacular for the Eagles. Very cool.

He was better than many gave him credit for because he followed possibly the most dynamic player in the NFL.

Not compared to Saquon Barkley, no - but we’re not going to see a guy like that again any time soon. I think Sanders was the best running back in the conference and one of the best in the country. He was the best back in the draft, the best back in his high school class, and was one of the best in the country in his year as a starter here.

Agree 100%. He’s had ball security issues going the whole way back to high school.

That fumble thing with Miles is a bit overblown. A fumble right during the exchange with the QB isn't always the RBs fault, and Trace took the blame for at least one of those (maybe 2).
