Howard is awesome, it happens. He looked aggressive and strong throughout. He handled it well, went over to shake the opposing coache's hands and will come back next year to win it all again, then off to the promised land. This kid is a great get and will be awesome for us.

This^^. Alvarez is long and appeared pretty sound defensively, so tough to score on. However, gotta love Howard's attacks and aggressiveness; just needs to finish better. Hopefully that is something that can be cleaned up and improved upon in the next couple years.

I would agree if Howard was a senior, but he is a junior in high school. He is older by a month than I was as a junior in high school.

Times have changed. I graduated HS at 17 (turned 18 in Nov).

There seem to be a lot of top wrestlers who are 18 as juniors

Heard hoyt skipped 3rd and 4th grade but was still a 19 year old 8th grader when they kicked him out. Still working on his GED. He's 53.
