Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: North Allegheny wrestlers take down defending champion Franklin Regional
(Lee probably would have wrestled at 126 pounds against North Allegheny's Luke Landefeld, but after Pepe pinned Mark Prucnal, essentially clinching the match, Franklin Regional coach Eric Mausser decided to wait another day before putting Lee on the mat.

“We had a shot,” [Frankling Regional Coach Eric] Mausser said. “When we lost at 120, there was no reason to send Spencer to the mat. He'll definitely wrestle against Connellsville on Feb. 11.)

North Allegheny is my school, as this is the first time all season they have had their full lineup available. I think this may have been the first meets of the year for both Landefeld and Stedeford.

They only qualified 4th from section, as they were also missing Jake Woodley (not Woodland per the article), who won King of the Mountain and was 2nd at Powerade.

I'm a CR South guy and I'm looking forward to us meeting again in the R12 consys in Hershey next week after you guys finish 3rd in D7 and we finish 2nd in D1. It will be a rematch of last year when we had the match until our coaches told our freshman 120 to take down against Stedeford in the 3rd while leading 5-0. After Stedeford pinned, NA went on a run to the consolation finals. Hoping we turn the tables this year. I'm going to go look at the matchups and I'll tell you what I think.
