Here's the link.

Pretty much par for the course with the Masser led BOT. No alum elected trustees chairing or Vice Chairing the Legal, Governance, or Finance/Business/Capital Planning -- the exact areas we suspect the most malfeasance occurring.

Masser's quotes at the end are particularly puke worthy....

“I am very pleased that these trustees have agreed to take on or to continue to serve in these important leadership positions,” said Masser. “The University is thriving, as measured by practically every metric, and I am counting on their diverse backgrounds and talents to continue to make our world-class University even better.”

“Our board is unified on most issues,” continued Masser. “By broader inclusion in leadership positions, it is my hope that the board will be able to work together better on the issues that have divided us.”

Ummm...except that there are the Alum trustees you are stonewalling on giving full UNREDACTED access to the freeh source files (even with Alum trustees agreeing to sign confidentiality agreements) and the fact that there are STILL the same people or minions running the big three committees (Legal, Governance, Finance/Business).

Federal investigation can't end soon enough....these bastards will get theirs sooner or later...

Shocking!

SOP, SSDD, etc etc.

Truth is - sadly - it doesn't much matter. We all have known for a long time now that no meaningful change will come without outside intervention.

What have YOU done this week??
- Called/visited/written members of the PA Senate and House to advocate for the Yudichak Reform Bill?
- Written a letter to the Editor in your local paper - outlining any of the number of BOT Scoundrel atrocities?
- Talked to a friend/neighbor, and illuminated them about the situation here at PSU?

It is up to us.

And they wonder why alumni won't "move on". The only thing I find shocking anymore is that no one in the media has begun to say 'hey- wait a minute......'

A dairy farmer chairs the committee on "Academic Affairs and Student Life" rather than a college professor (Pope) or a college textbook executive (Oldsey)

Pretty much par for the course with the Masser led BOT. No alum elected trustees chairing or Vice Chairing the Legal, Governance, or Finance/Business/Capital Planning -- the exact areas we suspect the most malfeasance occurring. You can thank certain alumni elected trustees for Masser's decisions. Taking legal action against the Board/Administration, financially supporting the legal defense of former administrators, and divulging proprietary information is not the way for alumni elected trustees to earn trust and leadership positions on committees. There are consequences to one's actions.

Masser's quotes at the end are particularly puke worthy....

The university in its response to the trustee petitioners laid out compelling reasons why they are being denied complete access to FSS work product which includes the likelihood of violating their duties as directors. I suggest you read the university's answer at the following link: http://www.psu.edu/ur/2014/PSU_Memorandum_In_Opposition.pdf

The DOE investigation will likely have little to no impact on Board members. The investigation is focused on actions or lack thereof, of university administrators under the Clery Act.

Few in the media are asking questions because more and more alumni are moving on as evidenced by the "giving up" posts that are being found with increasing frequency in this forum.
PSU in the media is now an afterthought supplanted with stories about Horace Mann and Cooper Union.

IMO, Alice and/or Bill should have leadership roles on the Academic Affairs & Student Life committee.

Btw, the federal investigations I was referencing have nothing to do with the dept of education but rather the U.S. Attorneys office in PA (Gordon Zubrod) and the U.S. Postal Inspectors re: TSM

Nice try though CR. Your heroes are going down hard.
