Don Beebe hustling to knock the Ball out of Leon "junkie" Letts hand as he taunted and stuck the ball in his face.
I never would have knocked the ball out. I would have taken out his knees. (the ball would probably of come out anyway). Maybe kicked him afterwards.

Got me thinking to who one of the worst individuals in Sports is.
Knucklehead behavior and showboating have exploded the last 25 years. In large part to some studio host/former coach with the initials JJ.
What he let the Hurricaines did before and even during the 86 NC was nothing compared to what we would see about his true character.
2 college teams on probation.
All the criminal activity and the Taunting his Cowboys teams did.
Goes to the Dolphins and brings in known criminals Cecil Collins and Lawrence Phillips.
I know there is a saying winning at any cost but this piece of garbage went to far. No honor here.
If he got cancer I would say, die a slow painful death.

My oldest brother is 15 years older than me. He came home at 6AM on the Morning of Super Bowl IV having won $1500 in a dice game (a tidy sum at the time). He Told me to wake him at noon. Needless to say, he wasn't responding to an 8-year old boy's attempts to wake him. When he came to the game was nearly over as they started much earlier in those days. He was very angry until he saw the score and then he became ecstatic. He had planned to bet the entire $1500 on the Vikings. We went out for steak, lobster and ice cream after the game.

My favorite Superbowl memory is one of the most famous and from a time when I cared about the NFL:

You make a post like that and say others are knuckleheads? Really?

James Harrison's 99 yard int return was pretty memorable. John Elway getting helicoptered so he could get a first down to help ice the game. Tyree's catch was just unbelievable. Swann's catch(es) in SB 10 were nothing short of outstanding. Lot more great plays throughout the years....

You mad bro?
Certain things I don't wish on my worst enemy. But JJ let problems fester that seem to have never been stopped.
A trailblazer of sorts I guess if you want to put it that way.

How about Max McGee winning the MVP award in SB I with a hangover that would kill an elephant?
A similar story of superbowl 15 with the Eagles/Raiders.
Eagles had bed checks at 11pm.
Rumor had it that some Raiders were seen in the French Quarter at 4:30am.
Not one of my favorites but one of the more compelling.

Whitney's National Anthem and Prince's halftime show for non football. The Prince halftime was maybe the only halftime show I ever liked. For those who don't remember, it rained pretty hard. The organizers were concerned that Prince would cancel because of the real threat of electrocution. He asked if they could make it rain HARDER on him during Purple Rain. I'm not a Prince nut like others but that performance was incredible. I always thought that he would have been the perfect lead role for a big production movie on Hendrix. He could have pulled the playing off but for the fact that Jimi played backwards and with proper makeup, etc, he could have been a very compelling looking Hendrix.

Football wise, the Tyree catch, the Titans getting stopped at the 2, the Pats Seahawks goal line play, and Norwood's wide kick. For blowouts, the coronation of Da Bears - the only game where I was hoping for a blowout.

Attending Super Bowl XL. Walking Bradenton Beach in the morning and then over to Tampa for the Super Bowl. I couldn't believe I was there (still can't) and as Penguins' announcer Mike Lange put it, "He was smiling like a butcher's dog," and I probably was all day long. First row, upper deck, near the thirty-five yard line (much better than my nosebleed Steeler endzone season tickets) and watched James Harrison and Santonio Holmes score on my sideline and leading our section in singing Renegade at the end of the third quarter, and the Steelers won!!!

I was fortunate enough to attend Superbowls XI through XIV, back when the average Joe could afford the trip. My favorite ever was XIII, with the Steelers and Cowboys. Great game, plus I got to see Ham and Franco play and win. Back then, I remember XIV cost us 850 bucks for 5 nights flight , ticket and hotel. Cant imagine what it costs now.

I went to the Super Bowl game in Jacksonville as my son got us tickets and we lived in jacksonville at the time. It was the Eagles vs. the Patriots. The Eagles were winning at halftime and seemed like they were the better team! My favorite moment of that game was the halftime show by Paul McCartney. I had never seen the Beatles live which was my biggest regret regarding concert misses. Seeing Paul McCartney in person when he came out at halftime was a dream come true and his performance was amazingly great! The 2nd half was a bust and the Patriots won. The halftime show though was a consolation for the Eagles loss for me.

From being in the Steelers Super Bowl lottery this year tickets were $900-$1150 apiece face value.

Lynn Swann's catch vs Dallas in their 1st mtg was something that will stick in my mind forever. Godwin's catch for a TD in rose bowl was similar - I won't forget that either

Some of my favorites as a Steeler fan.

SuperBowl X
Jack Lambert throwing down Cliff Harris after Harris tapped Gerela's helmet on missed FG. Fired up the Steelers, and triggered the defense to man handle the boys.

SuperBowl IVX Bradshaw's 2 perfect passes on the 60 prevent, slot, hook and go to Stallworth, splitting the dbacks deep, in 4th quarter in SuperBowl IVX, Steelers couldn't complete the play in practice, but somehow hit it twice, once to blow the game open and then to seal the deal.

SuperBowl XL, Randle Ei WR TD pass off the reverse to Hines Ward for TD. Was in Detroit for that one.

SuperBowl XXXXIII Bens last second perfect pass to Holmes for TD to give win to Steelers over Arizona.

Lambert on Harris is why people loathe the Cowboys. Should have given him a good swift kick in the groin

Cliff is actually one of the more successful X Cowboys off the field.
Stayed out of trouble.
Was involved with energy sales.
