Maybe it wasn't the best White Out. I'm sure time and weather played a part dampening the crowd. Perhaps the lackluster opponent played into it as well. SMU isnt a blue blood and really hasnt been relavent for a long time. But it was loud enough that it affected SMU. And it sounded like the stadium was rocking after both the pick 6s.

I was there and it was close to capacity. Also… the crowd stood the whole game. It was a really good environment.

That’s because the aluminum benches would have frozen off your hemorrhoids!

No one in my section sat at all when the game was in play. I haven’t seen that level of enthusiasm since my days in the student section.

Agree - crowd was great. Long tv timeouts were bad and had to sit during that. Didn’t feel CFP logos n stuff affected pregame or anything really. It felt like a regular home game and I think they only did the ‘Make some noise’ thing 1 or 2 times - which was refreshing. It was cold though - yeesh!!! Never seen so few tailgaters and after the game people we’re outta there.

I didn’t think it was as crazy as the night whiteout against Iowa the other year, but it was still really good. Not having the students up the sides closest to the end zone wasn’t as good/loud/crazy.
