I got to visit Nebraska yesterday to start the season off as we get ready to roll next week. Their facilities are quite nice and were getting a bit of a facelift in prep for the season. They have a Heisman experience where they have a circular room that broadcasts video of their 3 winners on the wall and the trophies come out of the screen. It's pretty cool. Work out facility was decent nothing crazy pretty standard. Memorial stadium was very cool to see. It's a good B1G stadium. Fans were exceptionally nice and Lincoln was a good time. Thinking of trying to cover the game next year in Lincoln.
I was able to watch the end of their practice yesterday and they looked like Nebraska. I think as the season goes on this year they will be a good team but not great. I expect our Nov 18th game against them to be a good matchup but one that we should win. I don't see the firepower on their end. Met coach Riley who was really really nice. Might be one of my favorite coaches now. He seems like a good fit at Nebraska. He bought every player a ticket to the Kendrick Lamar concert last night and the kids lost their minds.
I just got approval to cover the PSU vs Iowa game and Ohio State game. So I'll bring you guys some good behind the scenes stuff those two road games this year.
