This could be our chance to get a look at what the Feds turned up, thanks to @ryanbagwell. Now let's help him compile a master list of search terms.

The DOJ?? Hmmm. Some here felt the feds were no longer involved. If they're still looking around I wonder what trail they're following. As for search terms, how about "roadkill" and "leverage"? Those seemed to be two favored terms of the NCAA which shows their intent was to bolster their own reputation and extort money instead of simply enforcing the bylaws. The NCAA getting slammed with RICO would be hilarious!!!

I like what I'm hearing, but I don't know what the Feds would be doing looking into this stuff.

I think Ryan is trying to get the DOJ to release emails and documents - I think I read on his twitter that there are around 250,000 of them. Rather than hand them all over to Bagwell, the DOJ is asking him for search terms to reduce the amount.

maybe Sollars and the attorneys for C/S/S might have some suggestions

On the bright side, they aren't trying to stonewall Bagwell like the state did. The folks in Harrisburg either said they didn't have anything or what they did have wasn't subject to FIA. It sounds like the feds are willing to give Ryan what he's looking for but he needs to narrow his search. I'm curious what the DOJ would have that's worth seeing since they weren't involved with the BoT/AG/Freeh/NCAA tag team.

Louis the Liar probably uses his old government contacts to grease the skids. I think it might be interesting to see what his communications were over the course of his "investigation."

"N, S, T, R, L and an E..."

I hate this type of limitation because it puts the onus back on the requestor who's trying to locate information. He has no idea if email conversations were cryptic, or otherwise obscured. So, If Ryan doesn't "Guess" the right search terms then it's on him. The onus should be on the holder of the emails not on the requestor.

To that point, I would like to see what circumstances led to the increase in Freeh's contract from the reported $6.5 million to the eventual $8.3 or whatever it became.
