Assuming we don’t make the playoff, any bowl game is just an exhibition at that point. Does Barkley sit out and prep for the draft? Should he?
 
You could make the same case for him to stop right now.
I don't see that happening. I think he plays out the season and plays in the bowl game because he appears to be a great teammate.
But his chances of returning to PSU to play next season are ZERO, maybe less.

You could make the case he should stop now but the precedent was set last year with meaningless bowl games so that’s why I went that route.
 
The fact that you asked this question shows you know next to nothing about this kid's character.
 
I think he should skip the bowl game. He shouldn't stop now because we still have a shot. If we lose another then maybe he should think about shutting it down, but he won't. But definitely skip a meaningless bowl game and let's see what Sanders can do.

I think he insured through Lloyds. So that is a consideration that might allow him to play. Still, I agree that it would be great to have Sanders have a full game to show what he can do.

Given the way he’s lived his life to this point, there’s no way he sits out. JMO
