Just saw a report on NFL Live from Giants practice today. 26 is back on the practice field running and cutting 16 days after a high ankle sprain. The kid is not human.

Yep, against San Diego State on the sideline after a long run.had the same injury his freshman year iirc
Would it be fair or accurate to say that Saquon is so muscular that he is more prone to injury than average football players?Or more a peak human, lol!

I'd say less, muscle working properly is body armor. A high ankle sprain is an injury connecting the tibia and fibula but it also involves the peroneal muscles on the outside of the calf. A muscular, and fit person like Barkley is less likely to get hurt IMO, all factors the same.Would it be fair or accurate to say that Saquon is so muscular that he is more prone to injury than average football players?
I'm neither a doctor nor a kinesiologist; just wandering.

That’s funny.Gallman played well this past Sunday. Saquon probaly saw the handwriting on the wall if he didn’t get back on the field right away.

No more Wally Pipp ghosts in NY to resurrectGallman played well this past Sunday. Saquon probaly saw the handwriting on the wall if he didn’t get back on the field right away.
He may not need 4-6 weeks...he’s young and in top physical shape...I’m quite sure the team will be careful with their future.Hopefully the coaching staff use their brains rather than their heart and make sure he returns when fully healed. Saquon needs to take the 4 - 6 weeks to protect himself from further injury. He is an amazing football player but he is still human.
Gallman played well this past Sunday. Saquon probaly saw the handwriting on the wall if he didn’t get back on the field right away. Saquan is Clark Kent except on Sundays when he becomes Superman! Not worried. As a Giant fan since childhood (well that’s out of the closet) it’s good to have to two good backs.
Perhaps TO lent him his hyperbaric chamber.
It’s had high ankle sprain on 12/1/18 with surgery and played quite well 300 yards 4 Ted I think on 12/29 orange bowl. His running however, if memory serves was limited ...who knows. You mean little Mr. inside scoop, little adam schefter was wrong? No way
LOL. Yeah. I watched the game and indeed Gallman did play well, but there were at least 3 or 4 plays where you know Barkley could have broken a big one and Gallman didn't have the burst or cutting ability to do what Saquon could have done. Just my opinion.Gallman played well this past Sunday. Saquon probaly saw the handwriting on the wall if he didn’t get back on the field right away.
Does he have frost bite?Perhaps TO lent him his hyperbaric chamber.

Laugh if you want, but TO was one tough SOB and one of the all-time great WRs.Perhaps TO lent him his hyperbaric chamber.
Muscle protects and helps hold everything tight and together. More muscle is going to make you less prone to injuries, the exact oppositeWould it be fair or accurate to say that Saquon is so muscular that he is more prone to injury than average football players?

Different position so maybe apples to oranges but Tom Brady practices banding rather than than weights to maintain flexibility rather than muscle bulk to prevent injuries. It has worked for him. Again rb and qb are very different so maybe it does not apply as much. Saquon is great because of his muscle bulk.Muscle protects and helps hold everything tight and together.
