Based on the semis, who ya got and why? Bama vs. Clemson....

Well, based on the semis and the season, I guess.

I like Clemson based on tonight. Both dominated on D, but Clemson's offense looked to be a bit more consistent and versatile. Coaching edge to Saban, but Sweeney closing that fast. Overall talent slight to Bama, but both OLs and DLs are tremendous. Watson's experience gives an edge over talented but still learning Hurts at QB. Bama's D is ahead of everyone else in college football, but Clemson is closing on that.
Prep for the game... Clemson has more of an opportunity to clean up some things and make a few tweaks than Bama in comparison to last year's game. Clemson has a slight edge in the 'want' to win to avenge last year. All just slight edges, granted.

Clemson, 27 - 24, with the game in perpetual doubt until the end. A Vegas upset, but the teams are closer than most think or assume.

Watching UW play Alabama was like watching the Little Dutch Boy trying to plug the dike (not the dyke) with his finger. They just couldn't hold back the Tide. The UW defense did a creditable job for much of the game, but they missed a couple of tackles and that was all it took. The Tide defense is pretty damn impressive. I like Clemson, and think they can put up more of a battle than UW, but I stiil think the Tide prevails. I sure hope I am wrong. Saban is a first class asshole.

Seems like Clemson's loss to Pitt got their attention that's for sure.
