My guess is that Mendez redshirts next year to give them 3 years of Davino-Bouzakis-Mendez in the lightweights.
I stand corrected. Every dual with them we will be down 19-0 after the 1 penalty point from Cael throwing a chair in frustration.Yikes, Davino, Bouzakis, Mendez...
We might start every dual vs tOSU for the next 3 years down 18-0
Comments?
If we get Lilledahl, how do you think he will stack up against them?I stand corrected. Every dual with them we will be down 19-0 after the 1 penalty point from Cael throwing a chair in frustration.
Alas, It's a good thing the NCAA doesn't award 7 points for first period pins.
I like where you're going with this.If we get Lilledahl, how do you think he will stack up against them?
Rogotzke could end up starting at 184? Geog will challenge Hoffman at 197. Lots can happen, but I can see them figuring out how to keep Davino and Kilkeary both happy between RS years and lineup shifts. Is Kilkeary a lifetime 125?tOSU honestly has the most interesting lineup situation going into next year IMO
125: Kilkeary is probably the favorite but I could see Gonzales or McCrone getting the gig
133: Mendez vs Bouzakis? My expectation is Mendez RS and Bouzakis is the starter
141 D'emilio is the favorite, but if they do a lineup bump he could move up or get squeezed out (by Mendez)
149: Sasso returns as the favorite at 49 unless he chooses to bump up
157:Gallagher most likely, unless something weird happens with Hepner or Sasso bumps
165:This is where it gets really weird again, I think most likely outcome is Hepner 65 and Kharcala moves up to 74 but TBD
174: Kharcala if he moves up, if not I would assume Welsh is the guy
184: Probably Shumate but there are tons of possibilities, including Welsh as a 184
197:Hoffman
285:Feldman
This is genuinely a very solid team, where every weight other than 125, 184 and probably 157 are AA contenders.
For 2025 I would assume it will be Davino or Kilkeary at 25, Bouzakis at 33, Mendez 41, D'EMilio 49 and then the lineup holds other than 197 if Welsh goes as a true frosh, if not someone gets bumped out/ someone moves up to 197
If Kilkeary wants to move up, he has Bouzakis and/or Mendez to beat out instead of Davino, which isn't really any more enticing.Rogotzke could end up starting at 184? Geog will challenge Hoffman at 197. Lots can happen, but I can see them figuring out how to keep Davino and Kilkeary both happy between RS years and lineup shifts. Is Kilkeary a lifetime 125?
