Best short yardage run play?

The running back lead blocker up the middle or off tackle. They ran it with Barkley blocking for Trace up the middle on 3rd and 1. (4 yd gain) They also ran it from the 5 yd line with Sanders blocking for Trace in a hole between Bates and Gonzalez. (5yd gain TD)

Both the RB and QB hit the line with momentum.

Would like to see Barkley run wildcat near goal line with an extra blocker. I don't like relying on Trace and his 190 pounds trying to gain tough yards
