Best way to manage passwords on a personal PC

Dear all knowing penn state fans in the cloud. What is the best way to manage passwords on a computer. Is there a site I should visit. I have norton on my pc.

I am from an older generation so my computer skills are lacking

You can feel free to use mine. I have seen a lot of people use the same, but sometimes with a different length. What's great about it is that even if someone shoulder surfs they will never guess.

My Password is ********

You can just draw a picture with 8 stars in the sky and you will always remember. Put it on a post-it note near your computer.

Rarely, a site requires you to use regular letters, numbers, and special characters in your password.

I use MyPassWordisEightStars********

Or else just use LastPass. Make sure the above is your main password though so your heirs can get access.
 
Lastpass. My company did a big evaluation and landed on Lastpass. works well.

Agree, I really like Lastpass. Free, easy to understand, works well, the service is reliable. The paid version will support smartphone passwords but I haven't done that yet. I avoid keeping financial passwords or google in Lastpass out of caution since that unlocks so much. But things like this site, Lastpass is perfect for it.
