Big 10 seeds

Just a FYI: A link to that article has been on the site since this morning, in the Articles for Wednesday post.

That's tough...Three guys seeded third that need to go through the #2 guy from Iowa to get to the top seed.

At 149 Theobold from Rutgers is redshirting this season. Tyson Dippery is the guy.

I was thinking the opposite. Tough for Iowa to have 3 number 2 seeds that have to get past PSU guys to make the finals

So the most interesting part of this breakout is the bonus point %. At least it is to me. It does show dominance. And it is no surprise to anyone that watches to see Zain and Nolf at 91% bonus wins. That is an amazing stat. There are only three other wrestlers in the 80th % (Gilman, IMar and McIntosh). (No, Snyder at 100% of 1 match doesn't count)

Is this derived by the author, or is it readily available for all D1?

(Equally interesting is the highly ranked wrestlers that have absurdly low bonus wins. Tshirt at 11% isn't a surprise. Others ... DiJulius 13%, I Jordan 33%)

I'm not sure where the author of the BSD article got his data.

Flo had an article this week looking at the Hodge Trophy race which did have bonus % data for most of the top wrestlers. You can access it at THIS LINK.

Even though I've temporarily removed my "All Stats Rank" page, you can access all of the bonus point percentage stuff from each wrestlers profile page on my site.

For example, Jason Nolf: http://www.wrestlestats.com/wrestler/profile/20303/nolf-jason
