Wrong. I've had kids in high school who came back the next week. In milder cases, it comes partially out and goes right back in, leaving stretched painful ligaments, but young bodies often heal quickly. The problem is that those stretched ligaments can make the player prone to having it happen again. For non-QBs, it can be wrapped to help, but not for a QB's throwing shoulder.So, basically, the shoulder is not "separated", as it would make Ben the first player in the history of football to play the first week back from a "separated" shoulder.
