If Washington does not go .500 in the B10 I would not be surprised if she gets fired. She has had "her players" to coach for a couple of years, mismanaged her roster, and put stock in some player that didn't develop. Why does Agee still look 40 lbs overweight and out of shape trying to run the floor after 4 years of training at PSU? Unmotivated? Medical issues? Washington has shown that she does not evaluate H.S. talent especially well and although she seems to say the right things I'm not a big fan of hers. Some of the games her teams have gotten blown out in, she stands on the sidelines with her arms folded and never says a word for extended periods of time when there are junior high mistakes being made..... She has a somewhat better roster this year so we'll see if she really can coach.
Lady Lions played one of their best games in the last two years against a quality team. Teniya Page is the real deal, has a great pull-up jumper
and can shoot the three. As far as the roster ,the team is down three players, due to ACL's, plus Banks missed three games with a bad ankle.
Honestly, foul trouble, IMO has been their Achilles heel, but with a full roster probably would have won a few more games.
I was against her hire, but then she won me over in the early years. Now, I am back to thinking she is not the right person to lead us to the next level.
Who are the 3 players out with MCLs?
I have noticed that Sierra Moore has not played recently.
Sierra Moore, Amari Carter and Keke Sevillian. All ACL's is what I was told. Moore preseason, Carter, first game and Keke
last week.
They have a hard time defending 3's

They play a lot of zone, thus the amount of threes. I think they tend to foul more playing man, so with the short bench
more zone. Northwestern made 10 threes but threw up 33. If they made a few more they might have won, but they didn't.
The team will be better than last year because of Page and Banks, but they will still struggle to be 500 especially if there are any more injuries. Washington's success is dependent on her having great players on the roster. Her 13' recruiting class of 7 players has not panned out. Three have now transferred, and the remaining four of Spann, Mitchell, Sevillian and Whitted are no strong enough players to make this team good. Banks is gone next year. This team will only become competitive in the BIG in the upcoming years if some of the other 3 freshman pan out along with next two year's recruits.
