(again, filling in for fair while be's working on his bucket list)
I've been pretty busy of late, and haven't posted greetings in a week. My apologies.
Our first greetings go out to a gal that a young Mr. Gambit watched on TV replays of her big-screen hits, including The Jazz Singer, Dance, Fools, Dance, Laughing Sinners, Possessed, Grand Hotel, Dancing Lady, Forsaking All Others, I Live My Life, The Gorgeous Hussy, Love on the Run, Mildred Pierce, Humoresque, Flamingo Road, and Sudden Fear. She was named Lucille Fay LeSueur at birth, but to fair and her friends she was known as Joan Crawford
Our next birthday greetings go out to a lady that fair took notice of in movies such as The Story of O, Hitch-Hike, Moonraker, and Yor, the Hunter from the Future. She was born as Corrine Piccolo, but is known to fair and her fans as Corinne Clery.
Mr. Gambit has always had a weakness for women from Pittsburgh. Our next birthday greetings go out to a lady who 1st caught Mr. Gambit's attention when she won the Miss Pennsylvania competition in 1985. She went on to appear on TV in Another World, Renegade, Sunset Beach, Days of Our Lives, and The Bay. She appeared on the big screen in Illegal in Blue, and Falcon Down. Mr. Gambit has had a tough time following her by her name (she was born Sandra Ferguson, was first credited as Sandra Reinhardt, and has since been credited as Sandra Dee Robinson), but he never seems to have trouble identifying her by her looks.
And while we really do like to limit the birthday greetings to 3 or less, since we've been remiss for the last week we'll make an exception. Our fourth and last birthday greetings go out to a lady that Mr. Gambit first noticed in Honey, I Blew Up the Kid. He's since enjoyed her on TV in Felicity, and on the big screen in such films as We Were Soldiers, The Upside of Anger, Mission: Impossible III, Waitress, The Girl in the Park, Extraordinary Measures, and Free State of Jones. Most recently, Mr. Gambit never misses an episode of The Americans, to see our birthday girl play his favorite KGB spy, Elizabeth Jennings. The lovely, Keri Russell
