Never been to either facility. Watching the last two meets on TV was still awesome. Both venues were rocking. I prefer the smaller venues. For those that have been to these two venues (especially the last two meets)..... would you prefer BJC or REC Hall (assuming both were sell out crowds)?

I love my comfortable seat in the BJC.
I would much rather sit in a bleacher seat with 6,800 other Penn State fans than sit in my comfortable seat in the BJC with 12,000 other fans.

If it was a known fact every match at the BJC was going to have 15,500+ I would be ok sitting in my comfortable BJC seat.

Even though I have what is considered to be “great seats” at BJC, it still feels so far away, as compared to my seat at Rec Hall. I’ll take the smaller venue every time.

When I sit in my seat at Rec, it feels like I'm there with 6,500 family members, cheering on our boys. Every mid-match witty remark is audible (except during top competition, when nothing is audible), coaching antics are in my lap, and it feels like my voice is personally responsible for giving our guys a boost. It's simultaneously intimate and viceral.

The BJC duals are nice events.

I've seen so many great team and individual performances at Rec Hall there's a warm place in my heart for that venue, and who doesn't like feeling like a sardine? Reminds me of Beaver Stadium in that regard. The BJC is like going to the movie theater, not very intimate.

If the BJC had a Jerry sized jumbo tron it would be better for me. I also like the concessions, the bathrooms, the ease of getting in and out of the stadium, and the tailgreating potential.

Rec as an atmosphere factoring into the outcome of the match trumps all of the above. I also know the folks around me at Rec. I know their families and how they are doing in life. I like that feel. That could follow to the BJC i guess as I have that relationship with the folks around us for football games, but I dont like a lot of change when I got a good thing going.

Overall I like how the staff does this now. Hold one big match a year at the BJC but our home is Rec.

Its too bad that they do not have a facility that seats 10,000 like the Giant Center in Hershey. Of course it would need to recreate the Rec Hall atmosphere with the seats being close to the mat, tough to do with a hockey arena.

I don't think that they could sell out the BJC every match especially when wrestling a less than marquee opponent.

After the last two weekends, I have to enter a strong Rec Hall vote. They did a good job of keeping our section together at BJC but it isn't the same. BJC is a sterile atmosphere compared to Rec Hall.

Actually, if they did it in the old Hershey Park Arena, you'd still be close to the action, but that's within about 300-1000 people of Rec Hall (7286 capacity, over 8000 with standing room), so not much help. Giant Center is nice, but not the same intimacy as the old Arena was.

Both. 100% move to BJC won't happen. Frankly, we just had a wonderful dual at the BJC, exciting for all, but it's not a feasible venue for all duals. $$$'s, scheduling, and much lower attendance for the less competitive teams (though our average would go up, and we'd AVERAGE more than that-team-out-west) just don't make it a good option. Two duals a year, as the scheduling permits would be ok...
