Anybody else see it?
saw it last night and enjoyed it. very methodical and moody, like the original.
delves into the themes of what makes us human (or "more human than human")
What makes us human? We're apes - nothing more, nothing less.
And, most likely the reason this planet has never been visited by E.T.
What reason would an intelligent species have to visit a Planet of the Apes?
I liked it but not sure it was as good as all the critics were raving about.
My biggest issue with it was its too long. Cut about 30 minutes out of it and its a much better film.

You might be an ape, IDK. I definitely am not; certainly a lot more than a chest pounding banana eating bush wanderer.
Oh, I assure you, you ARE an ape. After reading your response, it's obvious you're a DELUSIONAL ape.
Go eat a banana, you'll feel better.
Maybe they haven't visited because the closest star is at least four light-years distant? What makes you think that alien civilizations are more "intelligent" than ours? After all, if they exist they would be made up of the same stardust as we are. They'd have been through the same sort of evolutionary pressures we've gone through in the last 4 billion years. One other thing: Our atmosphere would almost certainly be toxic to any alien life form. If there were actual aliens out there and they'd want to visit Earth, they'd send robots; they wouldn't come over themselves. What makes us human? We're apes - nothing more, nothing less.

One of the problems with your posts, and the main reason I usually have you on ignore, is that nobody on this board can ever tell when you're being serious or when you're just trolling for reactions.
1) If Naked Apes are the best the universe has to offer, that would be the most saddest thing ever. But, I digress.
2) If you're smarter than me, you'd know if I'm trolling or being serious.
3) Naked Apes aren't intelligent. You should know that. Just because you can say you're smarter than a chimp doesn't mean you're intelligent. And, just because you can look at another Naked Ape and say you're smarter than him/her STILL doesn't mean you're intelligent. All it means is you're smarter than a chimp and some Naked Apes. Big woop!
4) Thank you for your speculations. And, thanks for implying YOUR speculations make more sense than MINE.
BOTTOM LINE...Naked Apes are - AT BEST - a peculiar species. And, IN MY FVCKING OPINION, that's why we aren't worth visiting.

Probably Weinsteins' final victim.Worth it for brief scenes with this beauty.
Ana de Armas - muy Caliente!

I'm betting he takes a flight out of Sky Harbor on his private jet tonight for Europe, and then remains gone. He's toast if he stays in the U.S., they have him dead to rights on at least a dozen charges of sexual assault and probably half that many on forcible rape. New York has no statute of limitations so he can't use the Cosby defense. He's going Polanski. He's stopped?
