Blue ridge vacation disaster

I planned this vacation all year. I had to cancel all my reservations. All travel east of I77 is closed or limited. I am changing my plans and will do the Shendoah valley and West VA. I'll do the Blue Ridge next year.

After WVa, I'm going to State C college for 3 days. I am looking to buy 1 ticket to the UCL game. I attended a UCLA gane as an undergrad in the 1960s. I think we won 17-14. I can climb but have poor balance for walking down. This is pretty common at 80 years. I was able to buy a club seat for the Auburn game. I would worry about huting people if I fell on the way down. The club section has rails to hold on to.

Jane you checked handicapped seats? Other places hold them back and they are sometimes available but I don’t know what PSU does.

Did you have storm damage, I'm on the Gulf probably a few hours south of you. For us, just rain and a lot of wind?

I don't know the rainfall totals for definite, but something like 27" fell over parts of Western NC off the hurricane. Asheville, NC was basically cut off from outside people and probably still is.

Our railroad subdivision, the Blue Ridge, is missing something like 10-15 miles of truck and bridges and countless other spots are covered in debris and mudslides and flood damage.

Some very bad stuff.
